Safety Guidelines
Switchback is built to support recovery, especially in moments when cravings, emotions, or old patterns feel strong. It can help you pause, name what is happening, choose a next action, and connect with support.
Switchback is not a therapist, doctor, emergency service, or replacement for professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or guarantee recovery outcomes.
If you are in immediate danger, at risk of harming yourself or someone else, at risk of overdose, or unable to stay safe, contact emergency services or a crisis line now.

AI Safety Statement
Switchback may use AI to personalize support based on your assessment answers, check-ins, journal entries, logged patterns, and feedback. AI responses may be helpful, but they may also be incomplete, inaccurate, or not right for your situation.
Do not use Switchback's AI as your only source of help during crisis. If the guidance does not feel safe or useful, contact a real person or crisis resource immediately.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for your choices and actions. Switchback can support your next step, but it cannot make decisions for you, physically remove you from danger, or guarantee your safety.
If you are unsure whether your situation is serious, treat it as serious and contact help.
